Then Beginning on February 5th:

8:00am  – Churchwide Prayer Meeting.  In the Library, led by Hal Schendel.

9:30am

Relationships (Anyone), led by Mike Zoda. Do you crave strong relationships? What prevents them from happening?  How do we get past the walls that divide us?  Come and explore what the Bible stays about relationships. Room 3.

Sojourners: Discussions on Biblical Views of Contemporary Issues (Young Married with no children), led by John & Rebecca Adams. Each week we will be discussing a current issue and comparing how society looks at the issue to what the Bible says about it. Room 2.

Catalyst (Men), led by Hal Schendel.  A very relaxed, non-structured class for men, who want to learn how to relate with other men by learning how to listen, care and pray for other men who may be going through some difficult situations. And also learn how to share their own personal needs. Men who believe they are separated from God, will learn how to receive God’s love and share that love with others. The foundation for our growth as Christian Brothers will be based on developing our own personal relationship with the Lord and how to become teachable to the truth found in His Word. Library.

And We Are Changed: Encounters With A Transforming God by Priscilla Shirer (Women), led by Heather Terhune.  In And We Are Changed, we are challenged to walk in freedom, throwing off the chains that have kept them from fully following Christ. Discover how to let the Word of God set us free, transforming us for His glory.  Room 4.

11:00am

Reformed Theology (Anyone), led by Jeff Trostle.  We will meet to continue our discussion on Reformed Theology.  Additional, deeper look at the how it relates to our lives and the Bible. Choir Room.

The Lyrical Literature: Living the Psalms in 2012 (Anyone), led by George Omerly, PhD.  Room 1.

Ephesians (Anyone), led by Larry Gonzalez and Glenn Boggs. The class is organized as something of a small group experience with time committed to community and relationship development. We are currently in a verse-by verse study of Ephesians and will resume our study in February at the beginning of chapter 5. Room 2.

Body, Soul & Spirit (Anyone), led by Kenneth Wasson. This class focuses on our overall condition as a triune being, concentrating on our spiritual connection with God and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, who gives us the power to walk in God’s will. We attempt to see the effects of our spiritual condition with the health of our physical bodies. Ken is a medical doctor, which gives him unique insights in these areas. Library.

Foundations of the Faith (Young Married Couples), led by Fred Thomson.  This group will cover what we believe, why we believe it, and what   implications this has for your life.  It will seek to answer any and all questions you may have regarding WHY the Bible says what it says and WHAT IT MEANS by what it says about matters of the faith.  Room 3.

Connect, Grow and Harvest (Anyone), led by Steve & Vicki Simmons. We are like a small group that meets year round where we do pray for each other and our families daily and participate in service projects — “Pressing into each others’ lives as we press onward toward Jesus.”  We’ll be using a variety of Bible studies voted on by the group to Connect with others in our community and Grow spiritually with Jesus as we Harvest the joy from loving others.  Currently we are on chapter 6 of Crazy Love by Francis Chan.
