Our Father’s Storehouse (OFS) is an outreach mercy ministry of Wildwood Church. OFS seeks to be our the hands and feet of Jesus by distributing the Gospel and non-perishable food to people in need here in Tallahassee, as well as the surrounding areas.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me . . . I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:35-40
We first want to share the Love of Christ by encouraging and caring for those who come to us, as well as spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are here to help anyone in need by distributing food and daily necessities. Currently, we only offer non-perishable food, and whatever household and/or hygiene items that have been donated to us.
OFS is open to those in need in our community on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Wildwood Church fellowship hall. Attending Wildwood is NOT a condition for obtaining assistance, and no identification is necessary. This ministry depends almost entirely on food donated by the church body and local businesses.
