Wildwood Preschool is a special ministry of Wildwood Church, and has been in operation since 1995. The program is licensed through the Department of Children & Families and the Association of Christian Schools International. Wildwood Preschool is also a licensed VPK Provider.

What Makes Us Different

Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, intellectually & physically.

Spiritually – Through Bible stories and encouraging an interest in the world around us, we will help each child see God as the Creator – the One who brings order to our world and the One who created each child as unique and special.

Socially/Emotionally – Through developmentally appropriate group activities, young children establish positive friendships and a respect for authority. We will provide many opportunities for children to grow through group interactions.

Physically – Guided physical activity will help to develop spatial awareness, small and large motor skills, and hand-eye coordination.

Intellectually/Cognitively – School readiness will be the goal as children experience developmentally appropriate activities designed to enhance focus and concentration as well as a basic knowledge base.

Our Classes

Two’s and Three’s – Our program for this age offers a play-based curriculum, designed to develop skills such as sharing, caring & working together. We believe children learn during meaningful play under the guidance and dedication of Christian teachers. ABC’s and 123s are offered.

4-year VPK – Our 4-year old program partners with families to provide a Christian environment that prepares children for more formal schooling. Our program features a curriculum in which early stage academics, socialization, Christian education, and fun are all components, as we seek to develop within the child the joy of learning. We are licensed through the Florida Department of Children & Families as a 4-year-old Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) provider.
